Prof. Vijaya Anandakrishnan had a distinguished career spanning 37 years with Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd. She joined Dhanlaxmi Bank as a Management Trainee in 1981 and served in senior management capacity at the Corporate Office and several branches as well as heading the Staff Training College, before retiring as the Head of Regional Processing Centre, Trichur. Her contributions while serving in Dhanalaxmi Bank Staff Training College include updating Book of Instructions of the Bank, conducting a record number of in house training programmes, introducing IT learning modules, revamping the House journal DHANAM NEWS, drafting and vetting KYC/AML policy, Customer Service guidelines, formulating Training policy of the Bank, etc. Prof. Vijaya holds post graduate degrees in Management (MBA, Banking & Finance,CUSAT) and Economics (MA from University of Kerala) as well as LLB from University of Kerala.
